Words can’t express how perfect this knife is! I debated whether or not to buy the cleaver, but the weight and size is perfect for chopping veggies and meat. It arrived beautifully packaged and I plan to store it its original box and hand wash it so it will last for years. A really good knife, such as a genuine Damascus, can cost hundreds, or even thousands, of dollars. This exquisitely crafted knife is definitely not in that league but it will surpass the expectations of anyone who knows quality. Whether for yourself, or as a gift, I highly recommend this exquisite knife.

These knives are very sharp right out of the box. It made me use them very carefully initially, as they felt like a huge upgrade from our existing knife set. They have a good amount of weight to them and makes them feel like quality made. I saw other people's reviews where they rusted. I haven't had that issue yet, but I only have been handwashing them and drying them shortly after. I would recommend avoiding the dishwasher route, if you are trying to avoid rusting.

High quality, well made blades.Very good weight.Very good sharpness.Edge retention seems adequate.Performs really well.Mildly worried about how to properly sharpen each blade correctly. Would like to see a small card included to direct me to the businesses recommended method to sharpen their blades.

This set is awesome. Knifes are super sharp and cutting is simple and smooth. It's made with high carbon stainless steel that has to be washed manually and not dishwasher safe. It's good for cutting meat and produce, bread and anything you possibly need for average household kitchen. It's little bit pricey but you pay for quality. This set can be a perfect gift for friends and family: nicely packed in magnet closing case box. Whole set looks stunning and well designed handles makes you feel comfortable holding it.

Not personally knowing Paudin quality I took a chance on a vegetable knife N6. First out of the box, packed perfectly, and a fine eye to detail, impressive. Sharp and well balanced, not sure about the steel quality until it needs the first sharpening. But for the cost I'm impressed.
